Reducing Parental Conflict

26 March 2020 12:00 - 12:45

Inter parental conflict affects children in many ways. Growing up with frequent, intense and poorly resolved conflict impacts across the life course. DWP worked with 12 LA’s to pilot approaches to relationship support. This has led to the Reducing Parental Conflict programme of which 99% of England's top tier Local Authorities are participating and leading across their local partnerships. The session will share the evidence base and examples of good practice from the pilot and update on the national programme.  The programme is about making children's lives better now, and also reducing the risk of poorer outcomes later.
